Referral Policy

Patients and referring practices will be provided with details of the implant treatment plan and kept fully informed throughout the programme.

Referring clinicians will be included as far as possible in the implant treatment, undertaking the restoration themselves where they are willing and able to do so.

Patients will always be returned to the referring practice following completion of the implant treatment. Only the treatment for which the patient has been referred will be provided by the implant practitioner, except by prior arrangement with the referring practitioner.

Online Referrals

We have tried to make referring to the practice as simple as possible. You may contact us by our preferred method of the online referral form, by email or by downloading a hard copy of the form. Simple select the appropriate button below.

Upon receipt of referral, Elaine will contact your patient to arrange an initial consultation and we shall acknowledge the referral in writing.

Should you wish to speak to Richard before referring a patient (or indeed to discuss any aspects of our care) please do not hesitate to phone. If you have any current radiographs of your patient, especially an OPT, it would be most helpful if this could be provided.

You can be confident that your patients will be treated with utmost professionalism, courtesy and consideration. They will return to your care following the treatment for which they have been referred. Obviously the consultation is the starting point, should you wish to be present or watch / assist in any of the procedures you would be most welcome.

ITI Study Club

Richard is the director for the ITI Study Club in Shrewsbury.

This club is part of a wider network of  clubs throughout the UK and the world which is aimed at improving knowledge and treatment outcomes for our patients.

The ITI Study Club meets about four or five times a year - a mixture of lectures and peer reviews.

If you’re a very experienced practitioner or someone just starting out in your implant career, you’d be sure of a warm welcome, make new professional friends and hopefully improve the treatment you provide for your patients.
