This recently completed case shows a tooth which had to be extracted because it could not be restored with a crown or in any other way that would have looked acceptable. The extraction left a deficiency (a large hollow) in the ridge.
The ridge was built up using GBR (Guided Bone Regeneration), restoring the shape of the bony ridge and leading to a good outcome aesthetically.
